This morning all the roommates decided to get up early and go to the John Lennon Wall...FINALLY! For a minute I thought we weren't gonna make it too because we are so lax about all of our plans. But today was a nice change because I brought my DSLR out to shoot some photos. It was kinda hard to compose photos that I liked just because we were trying to make it across the Charles Bridge alive and play frogger with the various tour groups and obnoxious tourists. (Yes, the tourist hates the other tourists, are you surprised?) I think that means I have officially assimilated into Czech culture though. Regardless, I did get some neat pictures along the way!
I mostly just want to go out exploring with my main goal of capturing the city and its natives through photography. It is hard to take decent photos with people everywhere constantly walking into your shots. I actually walked into someone on Charles Bridge trying to take a photo if that tells you anything haha!
Later, after our class got out, we headed to one of the local bars near our Institute and celebrated a 21st birthday which was a lot of fun! We made sure to get back to the metro and make it back just in time before the station closed at midnight!
I'm also making decent Prague-ress on the lingo ;)
